This project of distribution of 2200 electric bikes is an important part of the Punjab Government’s vision of “Khelta Punjab, Tagra Punjab”. Maryam Nawaz Sharif emphasized that these bikes are being given to the young athletes to relieve them of transportation problems, reduce their financial burden, and promote environment-friendly riding. He said that these bikes are not only a source of encouragement for sports but also a commitment to take Punjab towards green energy.

- Free Transport: Electric bikes will be given to 2200 athletes from villages and cities so that they can reach training centers and competitions without any hindrance.
- Free admission to the Horse and Cattle Show: Successful players will also be given free entry to Lahore’s famous Horse and Cattle Show, which is starting again in February.
- Increase in sports budget: Maryam Nawaz has indicated to increase the sports budget from 2 billion to 5 billion rupees, which will modernize the sports infrastructure.

- ہارس اینڈ کیٹل شو میں مفت داخلہ: کامیاب کھلاڑیوں کو لاہور کے مشہور ہارس اینڈ کیٹل شو میں مفت داخلہ بھی دیا جائے گا، جو فروری میں دوبارہ شروع ہو رہا ہے ۔
- کھیلوں کے بجٹ میں اضافہ: مریم نواز نے کھیلوں کے بجٹ کو 2 ارب سے بڑھا کر 5 ارب روپے تک کرنے کا عندیہ دیا ہے، جس سے اسپورٹس انفراسٹرکچر کو جدید بنایا جائے گا ۔

The Chief Minister admitted that the sports fields of Punjab were inactive in the past years, but now modern sports complexes are being built in every district. He said, “We have approached the youth through the Ho Nahar scholarship program and seeing their talent has convinced us that there is no dearth of talent in Punjab.
وزیراعلیٰ نے تسلیم کیا کہ گزشتہ برسوں میں پنجاب کے کھیل کے میدان غیر فعال تھے، لیکن اب ہر ضلع میں جدید اسپورٹس کمپلیکسز بنائے جا رہے ہیں۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ”ہم نے ہنہار اسکالرشپ پروگرام کے ذریعے نوجوانوں سے رابطہ کیا ہے اور ان کی صلاحیتوں کو دیکھ کر یقین ہو گیا کہ پنجاب میں ٹیلنٹ کی کوئی کمی نہیں۔

Electric bikes will not only reduce fuel costs but also reduce carbon emissions by up to 30%. This initiative is especially useful for poor families , who will now be able to spend their savings on coaching or sports gears.
الیکٹرک بائیکس نہ صرف ایندھن کے اخراجات کو کم کریں گی بلکہ کاربن اخراج میں 30% تک کمی لائیں گی۔ یہ اقدام خصوصاً غریب خاندانوں کے لیے مفید ہے، جو اب اپنی بچت کو کوچنگ یا اسپورٹس گیئرز پر خرچ کر سکیں گے

Maryam Nawaz urged the youth to focus on sports and education and stay away from elements that spread chaos. He said that if someone asks you to sabotage the country, ignore it completely. Pakistan is our red line.

The Punjab government will also issue easy loans ranging from Rs.10 lakh to Rs.3 crore to the youth, so that they can start businesses. In addition, the restoration of the Horse and Cattle Show in February will also enhance the cultural heritage.
